Yes, exactly. Knoxville to Athens is 3.5 hrs. Clemson to Athens is 1.5 hrs. I doubt the family is going to make a decision on 2 hrs drive time. I just doubt they'd view that as "considerable" distance. And like I said, the family is originally from Knoxville, IIRC. At least, that was rumored to be true.

Oh, okay. It was just odd because Ron's post you quoted only mentioned Clemson and then Chaney (Tennessee). It then threw me off that any mention of distance for either situation would be a factor. Didn't realize you were talking about OU, but yes, he favors them if not for the distance to Norman from Georgia.

Honestly, I'm indifferent. However, so many like to proclaim they know what Bailey's thinking when they don't.

Maybe something happened Wed. or maybe it didn't. Maybe Chaney does like King better or maybe not. The only not "maybe" is people in here saying "I guarantee you" can't actually guarantee anyone, anything.

Those circling the wagons don't know anymore than those burning the mattresses. But you wouldn't guess that from the posts.

Meant to say why I'm indifferent.
While all the little items made me lean 60/40 that Bailey was bothered by something, he didn't decommit.

If something did give him pause, he appears more than open to having it smoothed over.
And I would trust Pruitt to do just that. Hence, no mattress for me. 🤷‍♂️
