'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

oh, i know, that wasn't necessarily for you, as much as the audience at large lol
Gotcha, my reply was probably more universal, as well. Without the bold, underline, all caps, etc, many people would read that and assume I just want King. The “IF” is important, as you noted.

Interesting. Some around him are telling him he needs to go to a place where he is the guy with no competition. TN doing good job per VQ

Not suprising. If I’m keeping one it’s harrison. So many connections to top targets. I’d expect if we get king that ga tech will be hard after Bailey.

IF King impacts Bailey, then I don’t want Bailey. To me, it speaks poorly about his level of competitiveness while it speaks highly of King’s to come in and not care about who is already there.
Ah the time held true “fraid of competition” shade. Used very effectively by noted honorable family man Zach Smith. 🤔

Not my intention to throw shade at Bailey, as it is entirely unknown IF he is afraid of competition. He says he isn’t. If King commits tomorrow and Bailey decommits down the road, I think it is fair to wonder where he’s at in that regard. Again, a big IF.

Not disrespecting you or your opinion but I think that phrase is an overused, one-sided default for fans and coaches. Both this kid and King are about nothing but COMPETING. Wondering if the coaches are as bought in as you are is a perfectly legit question.

Agreed, which is why I don’t expect it to affect Bailey.

But again, IF...

You have to take into consideration that he was committed before the new OC came in. The OC offered King the first day. If King committs and Harrison begins to think he will not be given a fair shot to win the job, he should look for another place and not be judged as being afraid of competition.
