No doubt. King has ran impressively well though. Still wish we had both. Just feels like it really helps to have a running threat to really propel a mid tier team and get upsets these days, ie Dobbs.4 of Bailey's 5 INTs were in one game, and 3 of Kings' 5 INTs were in one game. But Bailey has been the better passer overall this season, pretty easy to see
He talked OVs before the uga game. Not bc of Maurer playing 1 good half...because we haven't shown improvement.Credit it more to Maurer’s development

Saying it's Maurer puts us in a no-win. Maurer succeeding is the only way we win more games down the stretch. We need him to kill it, us win games, and HB will still be here.
Pruitt isn’t gonna hand anyone the job when they walk in the door. They still have to earn it. Competition makes you better and off HB is scared of competition he doesn’t want to really get better just wants immediate playing time.If JG was still playing HB would see it as the perfect opportunity. But now Maurer is starting and if he’s able to continue to do well and maybe pull off an upset or two then it would be hard for Pruitt to hand the job to HB in 2020 and he knows that
