'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

Rivals Woody
I just hope he doesn't get his hopes dashed if we don't win out, especially this weekend. Not being a debbie downer or pessimist, just saying realistic expectations are always best. Hope for the best but plan for the worst. Football can be such a capricious beast predicated on the ebb and flow of momentum from a single mistake, i.e. this weekend.

I've seen improvement. I've seen glimpses of greatness that give me hope for the future, but I also won't be surprised if we don't win out.

Ha! I'm completely aware of my almost irrational optimism with my team. Logic helps me get past a loss in the long term but short term? Oh no. My passionate love affair with the vols coupled with my unbridled loathing of Muschamp will have me totally obliterated Saturday night if we lose in the short term. I hope for my wife's sake we pull it out because we're supposed to go see a band that night. On the brightside I'll have a very good reason to drink heavily! Ha!

Go vols!

If we don't win out, and it is because of the QB position, but we continue showing improvement each week at the other positions, he should be eager to get here and compete for the position.

Too many big words

LSU is not after any more QBs. They have Max Johnson and TJ Finley committed for more than a year now and aren't moving on from either, so nothing to see on that front.

LSU sort of felt they were going to get Ojulari this summer and then Tennessee closed on him and landed the commitment. LSU just kept after him. They set up this official visit before Gilbert committed, but obviously it doesn't hurt their chances having Gilbert in his ear and him in Baton Rouge this weekend at the same time as Ojulari.

I know this. LSU wants 2 edge rushers to close out the class at that spot. Would be looking at a group of Ojulari, Phillip Webb and Donell Harris. I think LSU is in the top group for Webb and might even lead. They are in top two for Harris but much depends on Webb and Ojulari. They will make room for Ojulari if he wants in, but a lot will depend on how this weekend goes for him and his family in Baton Rouge.
Shea (LSU 247)

Bailey is coming in expecting to compete for starter. He's been training to get his body and weight where the coaches want him to be and will be here in January ready to work. Don't think there are plans to RS him. We need him.
How would you rank all 5 potential QBs? Could be interesting.

Yeah...winning out is far less than likely. Could see if BM was 100%, but idk why a soul would think that now.

Maurer/Bailey

everyone else.
Will be interesting to see who wins the starting spot. Not going to have the same dynamic WR's next year, but we still have talent. I will wait till next year to judge between the first two.
