This will be JG's first time in the same offense 2 years in a row. I foresee drastic improvement, which is potentially scary, especially with a competent OL for a full season.

Why can't we land a Rakim Jarrett, or the likes of, to come in and immediately make a huge impact? It has been a very long time since we have had a true freshman come in and play meaningful snaps at all.

Yeah that definitely seemed to be unfair. Announcers stated the rule book allows the band to play until under snap but if you are in a no huddle situation and using audibles when should the band stop. Definitely disrupted Marietta on that drive.

I believe the rule states, that once the center grabs the ball in position, the band has to stop. That rule has always been there, I believe.

I'm talking about this year/recruiting cycle. How long has it been since we have had a George Pickens or Calvin Ridley come in and explode? Mecole Hardman could have been that guy, but he chose a different path, as they all have for the last decade. Hopefully Ramel keyton will come alive next season. Especially receiving passes from HB, again.

Lowndes definitely had the better halftime adjustments but Marietta sealed the deal and finished them off on the last drive. The score could have easily been 28-0 at halftime. The punt special teams allowed Lowndes back into the game in the 2nd half.

I missed the reason for the penalty on whites 60yrd return. What happened?

Once again, so I'm understood, WR pos ONLY. Hyatt is a long stretch to become elite, IMO. What I'm trying to say is, if we could land an elite receiver, I believe we are back in contention for the east! That's the missing key, for us to contend within the next two years! JMO
