Gilbert sounded like an LSU lock tonight when he accepted the national hs player of the year award on the news. IF we/HB do flip him, THAT would be a nuclear boom.

My best guess is if HB has worked on anybody and flipped them it would be Gilbert. He's sort of a quiet follower type of kid from what I've heard. Lots of people were at the high school today and they had Matt Ryan on hand to give him the award. It was more or less Erik Gilbert Day at Marietta High today. HB had proximity to him all day, Ican see where he could use the "look at our success together here, why not do at UT together?" That could be compelling. Just a feeling no inside info claimed, just sayin' if HB flips somebody my guess would be Gilbert.

I'm not really sure how Bailey's tweet can be construed as anything but positive. Maybe not even necessarily for us, but one of his buddies. It's definitely not negative for us imo.
