'24 GA QB Jake Merklinger (Tennessee)

Looks absolutely have an effect on success, especially early in a career field. Once you've established yourself, it matters less
but it makes a huge difference in first impressions especially.

I agree. I am incredibly good looking and chiseled. I have to beat success away with a stick to keep from having to much all the time.

In a reference to one of the greatest movies ever, "you guys just sit around talking the same old "good body" nonsense like we're selling jeans"

My favorite quote from the movie:
"If he’s such a good hitter, why doesn’t he hit good?"

I'm no analyst, but I think about that quote all the time when watching sports. Latest examples are Levis/Richardson. I think TheRinger (possibly someone else) had a pre-draft analysis of Richardson that said something along the lines of "one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the draft despite never playing quarterback particularly well"

True. I never buy anything from an ugly person. If I pull around to the window at a fast food restaurant and the person working the window is not at least a 6.5 then I just pull away without my food.
This of course explains the chiseled abs as well.

I remember D4H having a pretty well developed, long winded, argument centered on good players being good looking. Interesting to see so many pick that up ITT.
