I see why he’s getting looks at RB. Good at shedding guys and cuts wisely. Always running downhill. Doesn’t try for the home run, just what he can milk out of the play. Runs snug to his blockers. Doesn’t mind running through trash.

Needs to stop treating the football like a loaf of bread at times. Also doesn’t always put the ball in his outside arm. Could get on the field immediately as a gunner.

Too excellent and natural as a hitter and tackler to waste at RB.

I’m interested in how big he actually is. That will probably be a decent indicator of where our coaches want to put him.

He’s listed at 6’1 by 247 and Rivals. 5’11 by ESPN. All have him around 190 lbs, but VQ has said he’s 225.

If he’s 6’1 225, it’s hard to see him as a safety. If he’s only around 190, then he probably isn’t gonna be a LB or a RB. If he’s 5’11 225, then you’ve gotta think he’s a RB.

He’s probably somewhere in the middle. Either way, dude’s a football player. Excited to have him on board no matter where he ends up.

I agree with just getting him in the door and figuring it out later. Thing with Crouch is he is a baller no matter where, he’s just about outgrown RB. Now he’s more of a fit at OLB. While Coach Punk likes him at RB, lets get some accurate measurements and find out what he wants to play before putting a square block in a round hole.

Calloused Hand said yesterday in a 247 article he was 210. Not sure where he got that weight, prior to that they had him weighing less

Yeah, I was basing my rb prediction on being 225 but a little short for LB. But who knows at this point. haha

It's been reported he's been on campus and was considerably bigger than his "listed" size by the recruiting sites. That's all that was mentioned though so I don't know specific details. He is a power player. I love the power he plays with both offensively and defensively, but especially on D. I know they like him on both sides but man I think he could be something special on defense.

I haven't seen him play in person, only his hudle but his RB film looks pretty good. Can't really say the same for defense because as a DB, his film doesn't put his coverage skills on display, nor does it put his block shedding skills on display for a LB

Prob why they like him as a rb. Defensively he looks like an "in the box guy. Probably a reason you don't see coverage plays in highlights lol. I'd expect RB/LB

Totally agree. He posts completely logical, agreeable things in many posts in the FF to make himself sound normal, then starts bizarre threads making outlandish claims about how JG is going to light up the SEC and we'll win 12 games this year or something. Then he comes here and claims to have infallible, profound insight into players that people being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars or more a year don't. He plays a carefully planned, back and forth character. My guess is, Georgia or Florida fan.
