Should Pruitt have a need because of injuries or because the kid deserves to play then Pruitt will play him. Being able to play in up to 4 games and still be redshirted is a real benefit for these kids.
One of the first things we will hear out of the fall camp will be how good this kid is at coverage and his closing speed. If you get an upgrade commit and you need him on the field then Pruitt will play him.
If you go back to Pruitts remarks right before last season began he said he would play the kids as they were ready and it happened just like he said it would. If the kid can cover I can see the kid playing. This kid may be able to play multiple positions if needed
