Ga taking over South Bend

ND is 5-11 in their last 16 games. I think the Irish fans have given up the fight with Kelly and decided to make some money instead.

I'm more concerned with Ga TEs making plays than their WRs.

Agree.....Georgia has a great group of TE's.

Tony Barnhart labeled it "Kirby's signature win". Yes a win over a team that shouldn't have been ranked and was a horrible 4-8 team last year.

C'mon. If we went up there and beat ND in the same circumstance Georgia just did you'd be thrilled. We'd be calling it one of Butch's 2 or 3 best wins while at Tennessee.

No, I don't think so.
  • Beating then #11 South Carolina in 2013? Sure.
  • Beating #19 Georgia in 2015? Yep.
  • Demolishing #13 Northwestern in a bowl the same year? Why not?
  • Beating eventual #16 Virginia Tech in front of the largest crowd in American football history in 2016? Absolutely.
  • Breaking the Florida streak that same month? Heck yeah.
  • The Dobbnail Boot extending our streak over Georgia to 2? Uh-huh.
We've had enough significant victories these past few years that beating an anemic and over-rated (because they were rated) #24 Notre Dame would not come close to making the list.

Name brand alone doesn't do it. Notice how we don't talk much about beating Nebraska, though they're another of the biggest old names in the college game.
