We will see, perhaps. He isn’t perfect overall. About 89%, historically. But in the next two classes, he is batting 1.000. Not sure if that is inflated, or not.

I hope we’re able to advance Osovet’s role to both his and the rest of the staff’s satisfaction. I championed him being on field almost from the beginning, but have to admit even I didn’t predict how fast he’s nailed the recruiting game. Got top prospects calling him a “great man”. That’s Larry Johnson level.

Like you said..... thinnest position on the roster. He will do just fine coaching. Been doing it for a quarter century.... my concern was his recruiting, not coaching. You don’t get a job at a top 10 all
time program, and stink at coaching. (Atleast not on Pruitts watch.)

Maybe what he does as a RPO specialist with Chaney. Could expand into a Brady role and along with his recruiting so far it could warrant a raise. Cart before horse territory but I’m preparing for the threads.

No one knew who Nieds was but Pruitt put him on the trail first. Now we have posters demanding Pruitt pay him or someone else will poach. Like he’s not aware.

Both Wolfe and Campbell committed after he was offered. They are set at tight end and OSU has two of theirs going to the NFL this year with one committed for 21. Makes since that he would be a priority for OSU. UT does not need to sigh a TE in 22.

They will take a TE in ‘22. They just have others higher on the board. The number one TE in America had a virtual tour of campus over the weekend and he’s high on the Vols.

Happens everywhere all the time. When numbers are tight, you can’t take everybody. Next year we’ll have 5 TEs on the roster assuming no one leaves or gets injured. MYbe if he was projected as a multi position player you take him, but I’m not sure if he’s being recruited as anything other than a TE.
