He was a 5* DE and an athlete who was versatile enough to play on offense, but he wanted to be an offensive player only, and at TE, he's more of a 3* player with athletic upside with the right coaching.

In other words, he should have stuck to defense.

He was a five star because he is an athletic freak. But he is not a football player. He has zero dog in him.
He would have been a completely wasted scholarship. The fan boys that rate players fell in love with his size and speed. But if you watch his film, he just is not a football player.

Haha doubt it. I was saying he’s a good TE prospect. Bookmark it and come back in 2 years to prove me wrong if you’d like. But by then he’ll have posted a 500 yard season.

It’s not often such a highly ranked, out of state prospect has such a long standing commitment with zero drama. Makes me root for this kid all the more.
