'20 GA WDE BJ Ojulari (LSU commit)

I thought we were told he was solid and honored his commitment because he came from a good family?
How good of a family could it be if your brother is in your ear about changing your commitment constantly

🤷🏾‍♂️ I mean we losing recruits after a win that’s backwards better come up wit somethin instead of hot air talk
You do what you need to do with Hot Air talk.....but the best thing to do is thank him for letting is know before the signing period so we can pursue others. Ratings matter don't get me wrong but this staff trumps recruiting rankings. No big deal but I don't want paid players here unless it is through the system.--- kids already think they are entitled....
Illegally paying a player is better than Hot Air Talk....

Don’t really care! We got some good Quarterbacks who obviously are being coached up! Let’s worry about the players who want to come because we have some of the best coaches! Anybody can see that! Looks like everybody we are putting in these games are being very productive and they are YOUNG AS HELL! Calm down and just embrace the recruits who actually want to come here! Remember 2weeks ago we pretty much shutdown 4 of the best receivers in the country! Regardless of who their quarterback was! Let that sink in! On the road! We got good players and good coaches! We are also legitimately in on some more good players. We’re good! Let them go! Bye! Don’t let the door hit ya on ur way out! Go Vols!🍊

A healthy and experienced Brian Maurer is the only one with the ability to keep Harrison Bailey from being the starter day one he gets to campus, imo.

Bailey with guys like Hyatt and Calloway at WR.
Gray at RB is a dangerous offense.
Definitely want a Harrison Bailey on your roster.

So when does Harrison Bailey flip to LSU? He going to do it right before signing day or this week?

Honestly nobody knows that. QB's are the hardest to predict after they leave HS. There is more 4* and 5* busts than any other position. Until they get on campus it's impossible to know what kind of career they will have because of the mental part of playing QB. I hope Shrout,Mauer and Bailey all have great careers as Vols and beyond. But all the posts about Bailey being the starter or passing Shrout and/or Mauer on the depth chart the day he sets foot on campus is pure speculation. If he does then great, it means he outworked and outplayed whoever is on campus. Mauer and Shrout are gonna continue to get better the more they play, the more experience and confidence they each get. Harrison enrolling early will definitely benefit him and adds to the QB competition. Will be fun to watch. But the Bailey immediately being #2 or being the starter the second he enrolls is just message board talk. The Coach's and players don't know what the QB depth chart is gonna be week to week this year, much less next season, so us fans definitely don't. Shrout played just as well as JG or Mauer has at any point this season and without the turnovers. So I don't understand some fans not giving JT a chance to be our long term starting QB. No one that watched him play yesterday can say he had no chance to be a longterm starting QB at a good SEC school. Nor put a HS QB, that has never even practiced at the college level or graduated HS , ahead of either one of our 2 FR QB's. Especially if they watched Shrout or Mauer play vs SEC competition. JMO ..Personally I'm excited about all 3 of our young QB's.

And it was to help secure Gilbert. BJ is an afterthought for them. We will be fine. We were a place holder for him.
Feels that way, doesn't it? But hard for me to imagine a player as good as BJ is happy to accept being part of a package, to know the only reason they took you is to get your friend. Maybe that's not what this is, but if it is, my advice to BJ would be, "be your own man". Whether or not that leads to UT or somewhere else, go where you're your own man, not an afterthought.

You think Gray is a threat on offense? What stat gives you that impression? Guy seldom gains more than 2 - 3 yards a touch.

Think the sample size is too small to tell either way. Seems they’re purposefully limiting his touches this year given we’ve got two capable backs carrying the load, and might as well keep his hits to a minimum until he’s needed.
