'20 GA WDE BJ Ojulari (LSU commit)

So looking at 247, we don’t seem to be in good with any WDE in the top 30. Except for this guy, who is ranked #10 and has a great offer list. But we may turn him away because he isn’t an instate guy? So why isn’t he worth saving a spot for?
Are you really thinking we only save a spot for Baron bc he’s instate? He’s an elite player. I could give a damn about recruiting service ratings.

We’re in on a couple other WDE including Smalls and potentially Sewell. Ojulari is a take, but we’re not “saving” him a spot if other guys on the board jump in first.

Since it's six months 'til ESD there isn't much reason to be worrying about spots at this time. We are talking about teenagers after all. Think about the quality kids that committed to us on NSD. For now Single Malt is just for fun, not soothing my hurt feelings.

I’m not trying to be contrary to your statement because I essentially agree, but we would take all of those guys and more if given the opportunity right now, no question. I believe we’d save them all a spot if we thought there was any chance.

Maybe so! I don’t have any inside info or anything, just my take on the situation.

The recruiting process has been a little harder and taken longer than I thought it would," said Ojulari. "I thought I would know by now for sure, but I am not even close yet. I still have to figure a lot of things out.

"I am thinking I will have it down to eight or nine schools this summer. I am pretty close. Off the top of my head, Alabama, Clemson and Georgia are schools that I know will make it.

"Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, LSU and some others are still in the mix too. I am still thinking about it all."

A lot of SEC schools are in play for Ojulari, one being Tennessee, a school he has a connection to. That is a school some feel could be trending for the Peach State hybrid.

"Having Ramel Keyton there and Harrison Bailey committed there does give Tennessee a little advantage," said Ojulari. "It would be cool to play with Ramel and Harrison again on the next level.

"I also like the atmosphere and the coaching staff there, but playing with them again would be great."

Says he hopes to be able to commit in October.
