Thanks @secking. A lot of the same info I saw/read as well. I don’t share a lot of it cause well, it is a Vol board; surprised you haven’t been strung from the back of a horse on a rope down a gravel road for posting that pic 😂. I hear the horses, you might wanna edit that pic out 😉.
I hear info then hear the contrary from others in the loop here so that’s the reason I inquire. Natural instinct wants to roll with what is known but this staff is so tight lipped it’s hard to know who to believe. One thing I do know is not to underestimate this staff. They’ve impressed me several times. At this point I strongly believe we’ll land AG and UGA lands DW.
Heard anything on Noah Sewell?

I still think Sewell goes to Oregon but think A&M seem confident as does Alabama, think UT and UGA round out the top 5 but think visits will be the key to his signature so all 5 have a shot imo. What are you hearing from the TN side on both?

What are you hearing on TN with DW besides he’s playing the game?

Totally Dark in Sewell other than he is priority. Nothing new on DW past, the last playing the game comments.

Thing is, both McDaniel and Ojulari are a bit of projects, but not like Jones-style projects. These are NFL-talent guys who need to put on some weight and learn a position because they were both so friggin good in high school they just sorta ran around and were awesome.

We haven’t even seen how big this kid can get because he’s had to play both ways. If he can keep his speed and add twenty-thirty pounds? Scary.

Just imho, but I don’t think BJ is a project at all. Think he is going to be good, VERY good. If genetics play a role and I believe they will, he will blow up while he’s at TN. His brother did well last year, got hurt, then got his chance in the bowl game last year and zoomed right past Brenton Cox, Azeez will start this year despite the 5 stars behind him. STUD, expect similar path for BJ.

Fits with everything I’ve heard/read, so why isn’t he ranked higher? Sounds more like a top 50, or at least a top 100 guy. Size?

This. Not like BJ is some raw kid just running around. He has very good technique and advanced moves as a pass rusher.

Certainly needs to add some good weight, but Im expecting him to lock down an EDGE position for a couple of years while at UT.

You may be fairly new to recruiting but in a nutshell, he committed to us. Had he committed to Bama, UGA or almost any other big time program, he would be ranked much higher.

Recruiting is fluid. Maybe BJ’s choice changed one guys mind which in turn changes another guys.
