Thank you. This drives me nuts, especially the number of Vol beat writers who say it while speaking on podcasts or interviews. If you write/speak for a living, use proper English when doing so.

Also, “misnomer” is not a synonym for “misconception.” And “concerted effort” doesn’t mean “diligent effort,” it means acting in concert with others.
