GA WR Adonai Mitchell

Asking how many of anything Bru has in a playoff game is a poorly premised (read: stupid) question. He hasn’t played in any playoff games. You know this, but you’re being willfully obtuse. You might as well ask how many receiving yards he has on the moon.
What I find dumber, is the suggestion you see on here from time to time that we wouldn't want an accomplished player (borne largely out of the fact that we don't think we'll get him, if he were to start trending here people would be singing his praises). Of course we should want A.D. Mitchell. That's not an insult to any of our current players. If Nick Singleton from Penn State entered the Portal, I'd gladly take him too, no disrespect to anyone in our back field, you just take good players if you can get them. A.D. Mitchell is not a player you'd want to turn your nose up at regardless of who is on the current roster, he's a player proven on multiple occasions to be able to make plays at CFB's highest stage. He has touchdowns in all 4 playoff games he has ever played in, including go ahead 4th quarter touchdowns in two of them.

I thought Georgia didn't take portal guys? 🤣🤣
LOL, truthfully I think that was just misinterpreted by a lot of people. They didn't take portal guys last year, but other than that I think they've taken some every year since Kirby has been there. I know that they took Eli Wolf from us late in the Cornbread regime.

He is a really good receiver. Only knock is he has been injury prone. He would have been a valuable addition here.

You could have led with this instead of saying we have noone on the roster who’s clutch, which is false.

I was responding to the several dudes who acted like he wasn't a take and couldn't get snaps here. Which is f-n ridiculous. I didn't say we didn't have anyone at all who was clutch but we don't have anyone like Mitchell. Mitchell has proven no moment is too big for him because he can't face a bigger moment than those he has already balled in. You always add that to your roster if you can. Go look at a UGA board and see how butthurt they are over him leaving, if you want a clue of how good he is, lol.

Mitchell is a really good WR. I wish him the best, but I really hate to see him leave UGA. It’s been said that he is leaving to be closer to his daughter, she lives in TX. With his talent, I can’t believe there are many P5 teams that wouldn’t make room for him with a scholarship.

And he's just so darn fast. That kind of speed doesn't come with many recruits. It's flat out raw speed.

I'm not really upset about AD Mitchell leaving. He's a very good receiver, but I believe he may have decided early on to transfer. No real evidence, but he appeared reticent to return from his ankle injury until the postseason. One message board rumor was that he didn't want to play at less than 100% and possibly put up substandard film. He made a brief reappearance in mid-season then nothing.

Whatever the case, as the season wore on Kirby's statements about Mitchell reminded me of last year with JT Daniels; seemed to get more vague as time passed and it felt like they were moving forward without him in the plans. It was nice to get him back for a limited number of late season snaps, but when they picked up Ra Ra Thomas from the portal, I suspected they knew Mitchell was leaving. If the coaches get the feeling that a player has disengaged, probably best for everyone that he looks for a new home.

Unfortunately, Thomas may have scuttled his chances of sticking around for long. Seems like Georgia has a history of losing one or more starting WR's nearly every season, so I guess some newcomers get a chance to play again next year.
