'22 GA WR Kaleb Webb (Tennessee signee)

Someone probably has the screen grabs but basically he was having a conversation with an underage girl and he asked for pics. He asked her to hold a spoon in one so he knew it was really her.

She looked 14 or 15.

It was posted around a lot on forums and Twitter not that long ago. No clue why he still has a job.
Bruh what the f***... How is this getting glossed over?

First, I do not claim to know anything about this other than surface details.

That said, it MAY have been looked into by appropriate people and determined there was no wrong doing. Again, I don't know.

What I do know is you have to be extremely careful throwing out accusations of this nature. You have to be sure and have evidence. Peoples lives can be forever ruined even when they did nothing wrong. Like a bullet, it can be unfired and unfortunately all anyone remembers is the accusation in the headlines...

It was creepy...not illegal.

I don't remember when it happened or any details and if you say it was creepy, I believe you.

Good grief, even if "legal", internet interaction between adults and minors that don't really know each other should be avoided like the damn plague.

She supposedly had some family problems and got into an internet discussion with him on some forum. All this was under the auspice of concern. No follow up attempts to personally meet or other grooming red flags. This came out I think shortly after his Trey tweet.

😳...... Yea, that definitely has an element of Creepy to it...

Powder Springs, Georgia wide receiver Kaleb Webb came to Knoxville this weekend with a feeling that Tennessee was a special place. He has been up this fall to watch the team play, but this visit was different.

"Just the academic support and the up and coming football program," Webb said. "Coach Heupel has an explosive offense that can really help me showcase myself and put up great numbers at the SEC level. The academic support will allow you to strive on and off the field. Build relationships that allow you to thrive on the field and in your career."

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel impressed upon Webb that his game is a perfect fit for this offense.

"Coach Heupel likes that I'm a long and fast guy who can stretch the field and I have good ball skills," Webb said. "I come down with a lot of contested 50-50 balls."

In turn, Webb has taken a liking to the first year Vol head coach.

"He's a players coach," Webb said. "I had heard that and I saw that for myself. He wants the best for you and he will do whatever he can to put you int he best position to succeed."

Before Webb built a bond with Heupel, he built one with wide receivers coach Kodi Burns.

"He's a great coach and he keeps it 100 with you," Webb said. "He is going to tell you the truth no matter what. He's going to be honest with me and basically I'm getting better each and every day I'm out there. We bowled this weekend and I could tell he's a competitive guy and with a coach like that I'm going to get then best out of him and vice versa."

At 6-foot-4, Webb is a bigger wide out who has taken notice of Cedric Tillman and the year he has had this season.

"I built a relationship with Cedric since the South Carolina game," Webb said. "We keep in touch and I kinda want to be like him in terms of impact."

Webb thinks he could bring a dynamic to the Vol offense if he chooses to play his college football on Rocky Top.

"I think whoever signs me would be getting an explosive guy," Webb said. "I will be able to make big plays and I'm a high energy leader."

Webb plans on focusing on his decision after heading back to Atlanta on Sunday. It's getting about that time and he wants to make the best decision possible.
