'22 GA WR Kaleb Webb (Tennessee signee)

How fast is webb? Hopefully we keep stacking speed......that what we need stress defenses like bama and uga
According to the measuring system implemented by one poster early in the thread, if he's @ 10.9 for 100m, he's not very fast, but if he's @10.6 for 100m he's getting decently fast...... 😳🤪😎

A lot of that isn’t simple speed. It’s ability to separate physically. Tillman and Velus are dangerous because they break jams at the line of scrimmage and maintain speed. Not pretending to be able to discern that from Webb’s highlights.

i mean neither is Tillman but hows that working out? we are going to have a ton of speed from other guys plus this guy isnt slow.

This is On3 scouting report on him.
Late-rising, long-armed receiver with long speed and contested catch ability. Flew under the radar due to a junior season that was disjointed by COVID-19 cancellations and an injured quarterback. Among the most productive receivers nationally as a senior. Has plus size and length at 6-foot-3 with long arms. Consistently runs sub 11 second times in the 100 meters. Uses that long speed to gain separation on vertical routes. Dangerous jump ball target in the red zone, using his length and bounce to out-jump and box out defenders for a high number of touchdown catches. Will need to continue honing the technical aspect of his game, particularly route-running. Has more build-up speed than initial quickness.

Lss.... Deep threat, long red zone target, possession receiver, situationally speaking.

Sounds like a Tillman clone.
