'24 GA WR Mike Matthews (Tennessee)

Perhaps, but a recruit like that will be a chase to the end. With multiple looptie loops and all that. Itll be good if he chooses us, but ill be more excited when ink dries.

I would agree in most cases, like Tate was, but this kid seems very mature and dialed in-- I think if and when he makes a decision and commits, it will be very difficult to flip him...

He likes several things about Tennessee heading into June, including the offensive scheme and his relationship with the Volunteers staff.

“I like that they are an air-raid offense,” Matthews said of what stands out about Tennessee. “I like coach Heupel’s schemes. I like how he plans stuff out. I have a great relationship with both of them, Coach Heupel and Coach Pope. I would feel real comfortable if I was to commit; I would feel comfortable going there.”

“They have really (already) shown me everything,” Matthews said of what he will look for on the upcoming official visit the weekend of June 23rd-25th. “I had a great unofficial visit when I went to their spring practice and I have been there plenty of times before that. I really enjoyed it. Honestly, I am really just looking to have fun.

These are the type of WRs that can give UGA’s defense fits.

Yep…and Pearce, Josephs, Herring, Bradley, Weathersby, Hobbs, Franklin, Fountain, Nwaneri, etc., etc., etc., are the type of DLs that will give their offense fits in return….

You can t help but love where this is headed…if you’re a VFL that is
