Man, this hurts. We outscore them on the weekend and lose 3 of 4. Hard to swallow. It'll be interesting to see what Serrano has to say. We are definitely going to get better as the year goes on but unfortunately, so will the competition. Hopefully we ascend at a steeper rate.

Definitely interested in what CDS has to say about THIS game, couple of questionable decisions imo.

This team will not win 20 IMO. This is a terrible start. I posted ealier this week that 3-1 was needed and we know that didn't come close to happening. I feel like the vibe is people are going to be patient but this is year two for a coach at at school where fans are anything but understanding.

I'm not sure how you can make that evaluation on 4 games that none of us even saw and could barely listen to.

"didn't come close"? A little dramatic, don't you think?

They lost all three by one run. The first two losses came down to the last out w/RISP and line drives were hit, just right at someone. The other loss was a 14 inning one run game.

Yeah, they went 1-3. But this team played hard. If this is going to upset you, it might be a good idea to take a year off from UT baseball.

It's hard for a bunch of freshmen to win consistently in the SEC. However, they will be competitive and they will scrap and they will get better.

We went 1-3 against a poor mid major team. You can spin it all you want but its a very bad sign going forward. 20wins will be very tough to achieve IMO.

You don't know this coach. CDS is a winner and he knows what he is doing. This team will get better, just wait and see.

I agree. This team will certainly get dramatically better over the course of the year. It won't show up in wins because of the schedule. IMO scheduling asu was a big mistake for such a young team.
