The fellow at footballvideos.com says he has every Tennessee game ever recorded. Pricey but I got the Tn Maryland game from 1956 (my first game) and the 1956 Tn/Ga Tech game

These were ok for the times they were done. Apparently they were done by T for their own use. There was no sound other than music in the background. For my use I felt they were worth the money to see Majors, Buddy Cruze and the others. The 1956 TN/ Maryland game was special as that was my first game.

Let's say someone wanted to watch every game UT's wonderful football team has played since 1902. How do you think someone would go about doing so? I am sure there are a few years missing and some that are almost impossible to find. I would be interested to see how many years are attainable. Thanks in advance.
Go Vols!

In your dreams lol...Not any footage from back in those days.

I understand "special" for sure.

I looked over his site and everything was a hundred plus. Just don't see how he moves very much. Maybe he doesn't have to..

I have some video (but not entire games) from every decade back tot he 30s. Tennessee had film clips of games in the 30s, 40s and 50s. Have some film clips of games in the 60s and 70s.

I have the Georgia game from the 67 season but it is chopped up some. Ward is dubbed over some of the game before ABC picks back up.

The first full game I have is 1970 game versus Air Force. Bowl game. Was broadcast by ABC.

I have some version of every game Tennessee has played since 1980 season. Either a coaches show, a short replay that was broadcast locally or network copy of game.

It has taken me 30 years to collect these. Many trades and swaps with people. Some film is from other schools, LSU, Alabama, Kentucky, Duke, etc.

I'm attaching a list of what I have except for 30s games. I have this film on DVDs and also have the files on 4 terabytes of hard drives.

Really sad looking at our records since 2007, then going back through great years prior

Yeah, the earliest I am aware of is 1927. Which is a HL film of sorts. It's the main source for early clips of Neyland.

there is a 1929 high light from news broadcasts. is that what you are thinking of>> I've not heard of a 27 version but their could be.

there is a short clip of the 1928 UT - Vandy game floating around also..

I've not heard of anything earlier but there sure could be
