Simply lost bc of the lack of defensive rebounds. If we would have stopped just half of their offensive rebounds we would have won. And Golden continues to dissapoint me on D. I really think he has the potential to be really good but he has to work on his defense.

REasons we lost tonight:

1. Golden couldn't keep up with Gibbs. He was chasing him from behind all night
2. Terrible rebounding effort. Pitt wanted the rebounds more than us. Totally unacceptable and I'm surprised based on what Cuonzo preaches.
3. Poor post defense in second half
4. No one stepped up to score tonight. McRae, Golden, Maymon, all were "off" as far as offense goes.

Rotation is the huge, huge issue.

Agree. I like Skylar McBee but he just cannot stay with the more athletic guards due to his lack of quickness. I do not think McBee should get many minutes unless we are facing a zone defense.

If we rebound, we win tonight. I actually saw some things I liked. The SEC might just be bad enough this year for us to be competitive.

Miller and Yemi killed us defensively while they were in the game. We had no one who could consistently hit a shot from outside. However, the bottom line is we lost the game due to allowing Pitt to dominate the offensive boards.
