Talking heads said that this was the first win against VT since 1999 when KH was a player.

That’s wild, makes it a little less annoying that it was so ugly. They are clearly hard to beat there. That one counts for a lot.

TN beat a team projected to be in the NCAA field on the road which weighs more in the NET rankings if i do believe so

Tamari Key, 11 pts, 12 RB's, 5 blocks. Great interior defense.

Jordan Walker, 6-10, 4-4 from 3, 17 pts, 7 RB's, 5 assists, NO turnovers, and damn good defense on Sheppard. Kept us in the game in the first quarter.

Sara Puckett, 7-11, 15 pts. Kept us in the game in the 4th quarter.

We also should give a shootout to Brooklynn. While she scored only 2 points, she had 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and, most importantly, no turnovers.

Holly lost to them twice. Pat won all seven times they played. Kellie wins today making it 8 to 2.

Great Victory against a tough home team that shoots so well from 3 in their gym. D can always travel. Now I had to listen on radio so I will have to yield to Micky and post here that all the walks called were bogus. Also few flops. Key Puckett and Walker picked up the offense for Jordy that is why they call it a Team. In CHRIST Alone

If only you could have seen those walk calls on television! I’ve watched and played ALOT basketball in my life and have never seen walks called like that!

You have two steps when moving into a shot he called Key twice and Green once none were travels according to the rules. That is 6 points not on the total today.

So, is it to early to declare Sara Puckett the greatest freshman player in the history of WCBB's? (Sorry my blue font thing is not working. To be clear, I am joking) but Sara did have a heck of game. She was the go to player who saved the team's bacon down the stretch.

And good for Jordan for hitting two clutch shots in crunch time as well. But, if you had told me with Rae out and Jordan playing her worst game of the year, they walk out of VT with a win, I would have been skeptical. But Dye, Key, Walker, and of course Puckett found a way to get enough points.

This team has been consistent not always playing "pretty" basketball and some tough stretches on offense. However, the team doesn't quit and shows so much toughness and a will to win. Not only am I excited for the win, also proud of this team. Huge props to Key, Puckett, Horston, and Walker. Even Kellie. GBO!!

kelly and our tenn girls finally shut down 3 pointers off that screen. sara made some clutch baskets when we needed them. i said walker has a good went she does force them. she played uncotroled and hits big shoots. it was nail biter like i said. at the of 3rd quarter i was wonder if i should put bad moon raising tonight don't go out!
