I’m a die hard, was chomping at the bit for this season and almost bought season tickets even though I live 15 hours away.


Glad I did not at this point. So far really disappointed with the coaching most of all. It’s one thing to jack with the substitutions and lineup combinations in early season games. But if you have the players we have and the schedule we have you need to play only the players who can get it done. We should have played a maximum of 7 players tonight.

You can only play 10 deep if you’re winning. If we get up on teams and can run, then sure, we are a deep team. But in a close game with a top 15 team we can’t go that deep for that long without losing a lot offensively.

Tough schedule aside, we can’t get beat double digits on our home floor. I don’t care who we are playing, who is playing or is not playing or what month it is. Just not a good look losing at home like that.


Jackson needs to be on the perimeter and Walker needs to be coming off the bench in favor of Puckett or Franklin.

Until Walker can prove she can score consistently she shouldn’t be playing as many minutes as she is. Don’t care how many rebounds she grabs. That was a problem for her last season as well. She can score against smaller, less athletic teams, but as the competition increases she’s pretty ineffective.

Puckett seems to be riding a sophomore slump at the moment. Maybe a bit too much press for her this off season? She just needs to relax and play her game. Thought she looked great in the exhibition busting those short corner jumpers. Just hasn't played well to start here.

You cannot be in a slump if you are getting very little minutes like Puckett is. She has not had an opportunity yet. Walker getting plenty of minutes though.

I’m going to direct this loss at Kellie your substitutions still suck. Your offense still suck and your team still don’t now how to play defense. It’s criminal Walker was in the game for so long. Also Sara still can’t get more than what 8 minutes.

Well, what can you say about the ladies, such high expectations being dashed with every passing game. We certainly are not remotely close to hanging with So. Carolina. I can’t figure out if it is coaching malpractice or we have talent but not the right chemistry.

I don't care about missing shots, but this team doesn't have an offensive or defensive philosophy, & that's coaching...Sure you may not have the talent of the top 5 programs, but playing hard & having fundamentals, is the responsibility of Harper..If you watch teams with lesser talent ie Carson Newman, they play a better brand of ball..Forget this family stuff, go out & get the best woman you can to lead this program, it's still a great job

All I want to know is this. Win or lose, Tennessee, is this a product on your court that you're proud of? I don't mean the players, I'm not singling out the players here. I mean the program. Is this representative of Tennessee basketball and the Lady Vols name? Is this Tennessee?

I don't think this team will be hanging with the top teams in the SEC.

Pat in her prime would unload the bench till she found some with some fight. We keep trotting out the same weak players and they keep giving the same weak effort or they simply can’t do know better. Why in Haiti is she taking Franklin out she plays harder than Keyes down low. I have seen many smaller centers just eat her lunch. But it’s not just her we make too many mistakes and play sloppy disorganized basketball. I am done. It’s sad Pat’s disciples were good tough players but they don’t coach like their mentor. I guess they don’t want to hurt their players feelings.

Playing zone in the last 4:30 behind by 10 is a huge warning sign that the leadership isn’t dialed in on how to win games in certain situations….you have to go full court press and man on man in that situation, have to. The zone let them bleed the clock, my god what was the staff thinking?
