For sure RJ never had the national profile of AR, likely bc she was never propped up as a cultural warrior. But there was plenty of talk, like everytime the LVs were mentioned and everytime KJH spoke in public. Then it was months of why isn't she starting.

Didn't blow up into a juicy national thing because thankfully everyone involved had the brains and maturity not to blab on social media like a pouty middle schooler.

Everyone is madder at KM for what she didn't say than at FL Mom for the cruel things she did say. Crazy.

Coming in late due to the flu.

So, how many here would have had the LVs putting up a 100 without Rickea, Jasmine, and Jewel only making 1 shot all night (and Sara on limited minutes because she had flu-like symptoms)?

That math would not normally add up but a lot players stepped up,

I will also side with those who thought that Tamari looked a bit better in this game. Still a long way to go but her mobility was improved and she had a block and a bucket, so small steps in the right direction.

A lot of folks have written her off for this season but she might surprise. Once she crosses a certain fitness threshold, she could make some rapid gains. The return to play process is not always linear.

Rickea using a stim machine on the sideline is pretty clear evidence that she has a strained calf muscle. Fingers crossed that is only a minor one.

Wynn is going to be solid rotation player this season. She did some work this off-season.

Hollingshead had a nice overall game. I just wish she would get going a bit sooner. She has been having subpar first quarters all season.

I don’t know about the whole “cultural warrior” thing but I’ll say Rickea just hasn’t done a lot of self promotion to build a following or had performances that was highlighted on sport center. Like I’ve said before she should be way more popular than she is for her talents. I remember she gained like 6k followers after a team USA post and people was like they never knew about her. Self promotion is how u bbuild a following now and that also helps bring in viewers, I know people on here will say u don’t need it because we don’t have anyone that has that kind of following yet, but once it happens, I’m sure everyone will be on board.

I'm sure Rickea and certainly her agent are well aware of the likes and clicks that pump up NIL. But I just don't get that she cares that much. She's got a good bit of NIL and seems more focused on being popular with WNBA scouts than building more deals.

I don't care how much NIL or how much popularity our players have. I just want them to pay proper attention to the basketball
side and maintain decent relationships with teammates. Then I'm all on board.

50-50 chance or better that "Dark Phoenix" is the alter identity for another poster who will force a criticism whenever possible.. This objection is novel though -- Rickea is not spending enough time trying to build her Tik Tok followers. Aren't players usually criticized for putting too much emphasis on social media?

Church league teams don't put up 100 points with their Star player and starting point guard on the bench recovering from injury. The fact that any team can just lose 32 points per game from 2 players and have others come in and do it says a lot about this team.

I still think promotion is a good thing, because that will bring more eyes to the game, and they will follow them to the WNBA, I’m sure they want some new viewers. I know some people that wanted to watch Reese play and they don’t watch basketball, so im saying it’s only a positive that can come from it.

That’s a fact!
They project their doing on everyone else. Make lame jokes and then laugh at themselves all over the forum.

Constantly make sickening child like insults at posters that they disagree with then go talk to themselves under their alternative username(s) to drive this agenda against other posters.

They go out of their way to make this a platform to talk up other schools and programs while taking any opportunity they can think of to discredit the Lady Vol players and program.

If you think this is bad you should see them making themselves look like plain ole lunatics on social media and talking directly to these players, their families, and recruits.

Troy was a good game for Tennessee.
Troy will compete for their conference championship.
I’ve watched other teams non conference games in the Top 25 and it hasn’t been as competitive as Tennessee’s non conference schedule. Tennessee top to bottom has a very competitive schedule.

How do u know what her maturity level is as a 21 year old? and she already cashed in with a Championship and MOP of the final four, she has nothing left to prove. Has Cairlin Clark cashed in anything because of her myth?
