Ugh!
Realization!

That probably indicates what "quality" of refereeing crew we will get to endure! 😖

--------------
Anybody wanna go into business with me on a selective blend of beta-blockers, SSRIs, and benzodiazepines
to be marketed to viewers of SEC Women's basketball games?

Looking at product names like "Good Call" or "Non-fissile Whistle." Open to suggestions...

edit addition: "Ref or Madness"
Ugh is right! Yep, we can expect a crew who may not know what a travel is, or what a charge is, or, or....

😣

Can I ask someone out there what is probably considered a dumb question? How can my team be first in NET when South Carolina, Texas, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC have better quad 1 records? I'd ask the Boneyard, but Husky Nan probably wouldn't allow it! Thanks to anyone who can explain why uconn is #1.

Quad one wins is just one part of it. There is also strength of schedule and they also rate how much you win games by along with offenisve and defensive efficiency. It is complicated and sometimes does not make sense. I do know that them winning those Big East games by 30 or more is helping them and I am sure winning over Sc so big was huge as well. The Net loves margin of victory no matter the opponent.

Thanks! However, I don't think 30 point Big East blowouts should be equal to a 30 point SEC South Carolina blowout! I agree, NET is not really an exact metric...or even an accurate one for that matter. Would've never put UConn as #1, jmo.

Any bias will not truly kick in until “The Committee” convenes.

Man, I want to say I'm glad this game's in Knoxville -- but sometimes it feels like having the game in Knoxville doesn't count for a damn thing when it comes to officiating, so ... here's hoping? I guess? I dunno. Here's hoping. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Bad officiating travels to every place. SEC WBB officials are just bad and it doesn't seem to be something the SEC is addressing. Hopefully the SEC WBB coaches will yell and complain about it at the next SEC coaches meeting in the spring.

Tennessee has beaten a Top 5 team in UCONN.
The resume at the end of the season will be as good as any hosting team with the exception of a few teams.
One game whether it’s today or later in the regular season won’t carry any more weight than the LVs overall resume.
GBO ‘solid’!

I beg to differ,,,two are ranked and two are not
the ranked teams will definitely carry more weight:
Ala #18
Fla #66
Ky #14
GA #95

we are presently #15

Have to win the UF and GA game forsure. I hope we win out, but need at least a split with Bama and UK. Are you impressed with UK coach? Fir some reason when I watch them I come away not impressed. Is it just me?

Nah, you're not alone. I am not. I think Kitley and Amoore are very good, which helped solidify his reputation as a coach. Teonni Key has developed nicely under him, but I think she could have done that almost anywhere. I will be interested to see how his roster competes against the upper echelon of the SEC.

I will make an assessment in year 2-4 not in year one...year one is rarely that coach's doing...an exception being Coach Caldwell...year one is/was HER doing
