Key and KK don`t need help in the post so i don`t know why TN gives up the 3 ball so much.

It is puzzling why guards drop down so often when we have a lane protector like Key. Usually when we do that, we get burned from outside.

With most of our losses being extremely close...and the couple that were having leads padded when we had to foul...reducing the made threes could have made all the difference, even if we gave up a bucket down low.

3 > 2 in the scoring column. That's just as important, if not more so, on defense...especially since we're not a big three-point threat.

Just looking at the sec conference standings. We are in fourth place with a 7–4 record. If we win out ? A 9–4 record is the best we can finish ? Do we want Kentucky or Georgia to win ? Which helps us ? I would like another shot at aTm .... 🤷‍♂️

Is LaDazhia Williams still hurt or will she be playing? If Mizzou is going without her, I don't see how this is closer than a 15-point game.

Gonna go with Tennessee 80-65. No Mizzou inside presence should let Tennessee dominate points in the paint.

The LVs are going to beat Mizzou so badly that the entire institution and indeed the state will collapse and fall into the sea never to be seen again. Given the landlocked geography of the state, the scale of this devastating defeat will obviously be seismic. I am posting this 100% certain information now so that all Mizzou lurkers can spread the word and evacuate the state before this Biblicaly scaled cataclysm is upon them. And don't worry about the LVs. Kellie will protect the team with a Wonder Woman like magic bubble that she generates using her heretofore unseen conjuring "stare" that Goddess Pat Summit taught her in a very secret ritual held in a cave below Clingman's Dome.

The one downside of this magnificent victory is that LVs will have problems in scheduling future opponents but let's stay in moment and cross that bridge when we come to it......

Horston is down to 2.7 turnovers per game this season from 4.3 last season. She has improved in every stat except her glaring 33 percent field goal shooting compared with 39 percent last season. She is a 72 percent free throw shooter compared to 59 percent last year. So she has been a better player this season except her field goal shooting. She could reach star status as a junior if she could improve her shooting and it would have to be by 10 to 12 percent. I think part of the problem is that her shot selection this season has been really bad hopefully she will improve on that the rest of the season and really work on becoming a better shooter over the summer. She can do it certainly we saw what Burrell did from sophomore to junior. Her assist to turnover ration is 1.5 to 1 and could be better but is far better than her less than 1 to 1 last season.

Missouri hit 18 threes against Florida we can't let that happen. Won 96 to 80
They shoot 38.1% from three as a whole team on the season which is 13th in the country and the third best we have faced this year. This could be a tough matchup for us if Kellie sticks with the two-big starting lineup. I wouldn’t play more than one of Key or KK at a time because we need enough quickness on the floor to run them off the three point line.

It seems that madtown has been possessed by GameTime's brain.

Mizzou game plan will be to shoot and hit the three. They know taking the ball right at Key is a no go even with 6-4 LaDazhia Williams in the lineup. As i said before make Mizzou put the ball on the floor and defend the three. And when TN has the ball Mizzou will try and force TN to beat them from long range.

madtownvol, I always like your posts....
Like me, you like to have fun with this posting stuff....Can't take this stuff too seriously, or a person could lose their sense of reality....I'm adding a meme (or two) to go along with your Wonder Woman idea....

Great post! Facts don’t lie. I’ve given her a tough time but she has quite clearly made a big jump. This is a tough league and you learn a lot of lessons the hard way.

You’re spot on about her shot selection. Her game is more balanced but she’s not sure when to pull the trigger. A great PG hits the shot the team needs when they need it most, and you can feel it! When a player has the right timing you can tell it’s exactly what the team needed in that moment. When we have a lull she has to make something happen. That’s how great PGs keep a team rolling while their scorers get going and wear their defenders out.

When Rae and Rennia can’t get open she has got to force the defense to respect her. Improving her percentages across the board will go a long way. My opinion only, but the 3 point shot should be a priority if she plans to continue playing on the perimeter.
