Oh Sh*t, is that what she said? I heard off but not boot. At least that's some tiny progress.

I still don't think this is an acute injury like a high ankle sprain. Don't think that would be so apparently unpredictable day to day. I'm afraid this is a stress or usage injury. Really hate it for her.
Yes. The full quote from Kellie is "Each day is different. So, literally, I'll walk in today and find out what she's doing today. I know (the boot) was definitely off some."

Start Wynn for defense and Striplin for fundamentals and shooting ability. Darby should not be starting, we know how that goes with Harper.

Wynn is the plucky backup QB that everybody loves but if she starts, we are in really bad shape, like losing SEC record shape. She has rudimentary offensive skills and her defensive skills are WAY overstated. Prove me wrong.

Striplin can't play 15 minutes without fouling out and 4 turnovers. She looks so good for certain stretches, but then very frustrating.

Darby shouldn't be starting. It should be Powell, Wells, Spear, Puckett, and Hollingshead playing as many minutes as possible. That is a lineup that should win basketball games even w/o Jackson.

Check out this crappy stat report, the part of the show where 37620vol talks about crappy stats...

Our opponents are shooting 38.9% from 3 against us --- our rank in this stat is 339/360. Which means there are only 21 teams in NCAAW basketball that are defending the 3 worse than us.
Our opponents are shooting 39.2% from 2 against us --- our rank in this stat is a respectable 52/360. There is practically no delta between the percentage of 3s and 2s shot against us. Maybe we have been "unlucky" and the 3P% evens out a bit, but IMO it's a strong indication that we are not getting hands in sight lines on hardly any of our opponents' 3-point shots. This also tracks with my observations while watching the games this year.

The most dangerous thing about this is that when you completely fail to defend the 3, ANY team out there can beat you. There are a bunch of mid-major type players that can run the court and hit wide-open 3s. I see much pain in our future if we can't get better with our 3-point defense.

I see ND is favored by 4. I worry the crowd will be sparse with an early tip time. Hope the LV can pull off the win.

Where is "stress fracture" coming from? That diagnosis seems unlikely. RJ would not have been using a STEM machine for a bone injury--that treatment is for soft tissue injuries. Also, bone stress injuries are quite predictable in terms of their healing time.

Soft tissue injuires are the tricky ones to timeline.

It could be an ankle sprain or a muscle strain (walking boots are used in both).

But, it will all be fine. RJ will be back when it matters most.

This board is becoming "freakout nation" - Rickea will never heal!! The LVs will never sign another recruit!!!! The LVs will never be relevant again!!!

We are only a few games into the season-- chill folks, chill.

I don't think people believe this nor want to hear it, but if an athlete quickly gains even 10 pounds it can be problematic.
