Well OF COURSE the players have to go into the game believing they will win! Fortunately, I’m not one of the players. lol

I guess I am being particularly level-headed about this game because it really is, in my opinion, kinda ridiculous for fans to expect an upset of the recent #1 team in the nation/perennial Final Four team when they just struggled against Alabama. It’s not fair for fans to pile that much expectation on them because, inevitably, some of those same fans come back angry that the miravle didn’t happen and then make obnoxious comments about our players, staff and the future of Lady Vol basketball in general, all based on their own ridiculously over-inflated expectation.

No one wants to write the ladies off against UConn, but to me the LSU you game is more important because it is a conference game and a game we should win.

I just think UConn on their home court and with the players being more experienced in an established system is huge.

I agree. I’m just not that worked up about the Uconn game. The LSU game is a much bigger deal and I hope they still have their legs under them for that game. I am glad the kids have the opportunity to play and hopefully win against conn but Beat those Tigers!

We can beat UC if we limit turnovers and stay focused on our defensive goals. UConn is good but we can be better and I have seen our abilities. That is a two edge sword because, one side I expect them to do what that can do but when they don't I wonder where their heads are. I have to remember these young women are just that young women and inconsistent behavior is part of the deal. But I am counting on the last outing to be beneficial and reminding the team that small or what they think are small things can add up to put you in an if I had only played with more control review and regret. If I could relay any idea to the team is that they are better and all they have to do is play hard with control and their skill and superior abilities with prevail.

I'm just not at peace with "being within twenty"....If it happens, so be it,
but until it does, it didn't!
Right now John Adams didn't give us a chance and better than half on this site that has chimed in either pro-Ucon or convinced we can't do it.

I saw the connies play.
Not the last game,,a drubbing of the 211th ranked team out of 341...No I watched a 7 point win against the #53 team in the country.
They didn't look invulnerable to me, infact I saw Geno with his head in his hand several times.

We are #23.
I'm figuring a 2-3 point game...either way...And I am projecting it to be our way!

If I'm coaching,,That's what I'm telling my girls!

Outside of our team, the coaches, all their loved ones, all the former Lady Vols, staff and their loved ones, I guaranTEE you that there is noone on this planet hoping for a Tennessee victory more than me.

I have seen comments about how highly ranked UConn players are. We have some pretty highly ranked players also. The difference is mostly in performance level of play. We have the ability, now let‘s go perform at a high level and get a big win!
