Defense is picking back up but we need to score. They’re overplaying, we’ve got to take it back door a couple times. I think we’re in better shape and our size is bothering them. We weren’t defending the screen very well for several minutes and they made us pay. Much better the last few trips.

Tamari is coming into her own defensively. She’s making people regret bringing it in the paint and she’s pretty good about not fouling. Especially for a freshman.

We seem to have a consistent lull at the beginning of the second quarter and then a nice flurry before half. If we can prevent that decline offensively in the first few minutes of the second we can break some games wide open.

This new resurgence of LV offense looks good when they run it correctly. I must say kjh is doing a good job the improvements on the offensive end have been miraculous!

They were running a little weave action for a minute or two. I think that was the first time I’ve seen that from them this year. Lots of movement, really takes it out of your opponent defensively and forces them to move constantly.

I know coach doesn’t want to but she’s going to have to cut this to a 7 man rotation. With Rennie maybe as #8. At this point I would go with Saunders over KK. Harris and KK just don’t help.
#6 - Burrell, #7 - Saunders, #8 - Rennie

Key will need to play all 40 against UCONN they have less than 2 weeks to prepare. The hussies can score and that’s it. Can’t defend a dead man so we cannot go through these scoring droughts if we are to compete. If we can score 70+ against UCONN I think we got a great shot
