That game had a little of everything in it.....Like some of you guys posted, I could not sit down for the last 3 minutes or so....It seemed our girls kept dribbling into trouble instead of taking the open shot when they had it....

Great excitement for us fans.....

If you watched the game Davis backed away quietly and told her teammates the game wasnt over and calm down.

Here is the thing... people want us to be upset they won the game and fear UConn tearing us apart. They don’t understand we already feel a tad better because these were the games in the past we found a way to lose not win

If Genos team puts on a clinic well they do. I actually would expect a team with players that have been to multiple final fours to do that to people but even in a loss I can tell if we are improving

Considering she led the team with 6 turnovers and only had 19 points on 18 shots and is slow to close on shooters and work around screens, both parts of the comment are factual.

We staggered around all night. And nobody wanted to take the open shot - would rather pump-fake and give the defense time to catch up.

yes the results will bear that out.... but with Dukes 1992 thing.... keen basketball minds set up the play coach k asked can you grant hill throw the ball that far..... he asked Christian can you catch it he thought do we have time....

ya I know just replied to another poster.... I remember that play so well.... and saw presser after..... coach asked his players individually if they could execute the plan and they certainly executed.....

All I know for certain is that if I am still alive at 9:15 p.m. tomorrow I will be either the most bitter, angry, disgusted human on Earth, or I’ll be on my way back home from TBA feeling like a million bucks, happy as a person can be.

Beating Alabama to end their mind-boggling five-game winning streak is everything to me. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.

I’m happy that they won AND she practices those shots! It didn’t even touch the rim.

But biggest take away was how she kept settling her team down to make plays down the stretch.

All in all I am glad they won as well. I am interested in seeing what Alabama says in the presser.

When she gets hot , she is really good. They have too many mental lapse on D , I think at one time they gave up 3 straight layups. They can let UConn do that
