The thing that scares me the most is we have Key and they have about four bigs to throw at her. After Key we shrink to 6'2" and 6'1" post players since Emily probably will not play. This is the matchup in the game that worries me the most. I think Key can hold her own, but she can't play 40 minutes. When she goes out will be the time when we'll need to be able to stay even and not lose ground in the game.

65 red head girl blocks shoots pretty good on youtube game wed they said stanford has a freshmen who can dunked this might be a game where we need more stripline 6 3. but stanford 6 5 girl played more agaisted texas . tenn can not have silly reaching fouls or i going basket does not matter how many people in way charges

I’m so excited for tip off! We have a great opportunity today. Hoping our squad comes out with a high level of intensity!

I’m trying to keep in perspective that this game doesn’t determine our season. We’re also missing Rae. However, I’m all for this being a statement game that shows we’re contenders!

DirecTV is now listing/showing the LV game at 5:15 again....Yesterday they had changed listing to women's Volleyball preview show at 5: 15, but now have changed it back to our game...

It's grand to see so many LV fans all jazzed up for these games again...As long as we outscore Stanford, we should win...LOL.

Something wonderful is about to happen here....

texas got stanford early 2 game with help from refs this should tell if tenn looks like they can get number 9 this year. and what happens on tuesday south caroline & stanford. while we wait for south caroline & unconn games. changes of geting nine goes up if tenn gets rae back in jan.

Here's the thing about Lady Vols fans who are blessed to be able to attend the games in person: The crowd is typically above-average for being knowledgable of the game, and they reward the players with loud applause for particularly good stretches of play -- especially on the defensive end.

Sure, we enjoy a great play on offense, too, but I have always believed that Lady Vols fans help the players the most when they need defensive stops. Because of the way the fans appreciate stout defense, I have always believed they have helped players overcome fatigue and push through to stops. A great defensive stop can absolutely electrify that arena! This is what Kellie knows and is why she is going the extra lengths to get fans in the seats today.

But more than anything, Lady Vols fans are happiest to go to the trouble of attending the games when they perceive the team has a legitimate shot at winning every game they play and KNOWS IT themselves. Every fanship likes a winner, and this Lady Vol team is definitely headed in the right direction to attract some of the old fans who had slacked off from attending. I'm excited for the program!

I feel like the Old Lady Vols are finally back. After so many mediocre years with Holly, who almost buried the program.
