Game Thread: (7) Lady Vols 86 - (RV) Arkansas 83

They may set a record for going from a top seed to the bubble.
What? This team is squarely in the tournament. They're in a rut but it's not like they're the men's team who could logically play themselves out

Like i said Thursday this teams energy is different since Rae been inserted back into the starting lineup and until coach harper figures this out this team will have problems.
I think losing Green is a bigger issue. Rae can win games for Tenn that Tess cannot.

What "shared title?"

If TN wins out in-conference, we would have one conference loss to SC's two. In addition, we'd hold the tiebreaker even with another loss.
Whoops, said that wrong. Yeah, Tenn would have to beat SC and win out. Before the Auburn loss, they could lose to lose to SC but still share the title. But if Tenn beats SC but loses to LSU and SC wins out, they would share the title. H2H only matters for the SECT seeding.

Arky is packing the paint against Tamari. We have to hit outside shots to open them up.

They know this and it is not something we can really do. If it is an outside shooting contest then they win. They have three girls lined up to rebound our missed shots and harass Key. The only thing which worked for us was getting multiple, quicker, more mobile players who are better rebounders down low. Puckett and Dye look really comfortable down there with the contact.

But the defensive end is where we have no answer. We haven't switched defenses at all to try to slow them down, and we haven't matched their physicality and willingness to hack and grab.

The stretch I was keeping track 80% of their shots were wide open ones. We have to not collapse for rebounds so much and need to seek the three pt shooters on any drive. Let Key shut down the ones who get by and then they are out of options.
