Rennie is not as lithe as she appears in her freshman pics, the year she made 25 3s and shot 44% behind the arc. She couldn't throw it in the ocean last year and this season she's 0-10 from three. Mop-up duty apparently doesn't suit her shooting eye - a non-Power 5 program could use her roundball acumen while re-establishing her ability as a 3 pt. specialist.

Darn, been pulling for Rennie since she has been here and I miss the game she gets some PT. Glad to hear she did well. Madtown- nice comparison to Zolman. Forgot about her. She did become the sharpshooter she was recruited to be. Rennie could learn a few things watching tape of her.

Was hoping Burrell would get some cleanup minuets to test the knee but guess she didn't.

Nine of the Lady Vols' 10 active players logged a bucket against Georgia State, and five Lady Vols turned in a double-digit effort (Horston, Miles, Puckett, Key, Green).

It's the first time during the 2021-22 campaign that five UT players have scored 10+ points.

BK's and Karoline's excitement and sense of having fun (complete with giggling) and Keyen's poise and maturity and shout-out to the coaches (affirmed by the freshmen) are a real pleasure to see. Note BK patting Keyen on the back as they get up to leave. It seems that all the talk about this team having each other's backs is for real and not just lip service.

Also love reading the encouraging tweets from players' parents, especially from parents of reserves who are constantly working hard to improve, biding their time for now as they deal with injuries and keep being great teammates!

Hi Krich,

Thanks for asking. No Europe (Covid is making such matter challenging) but he did sign with a team in the 2nd division of US soccer (the USL), so he is on the path!!

For all the bellyaching about Horston, she still finished with a double-double and a plus 21. Her . recent slump” may be due to the defensive effort placed upon her. The offense certainly seems much more fluid when she’s on the court than not. Always likely to make more errors when you’re the one who makes things happen on offense. Horston’s ability to drive and create might be the reason this team has seen the level of success they have.
