Getting the series win tomorrow and a win against ETSU on Tuesday putting us at .500 going to North Carolina would be huge.

A excellent rebound win today, and the long losing streak is over to the Sun Devils has been ended.
Now tommorow a chance to make a statement and win the series.

I don't think he kicked the guy out as it appeared to be a warning.

The guy was vociferous the entire game. Got to give him credit.

To quote a line from "Bull Durham": "Must have called him a @##$#!#$""

I have a photo of the guy by chance.

By the way, I now know beer is allowed in the porches. That may change now

which one is Freak fryeguy93 ?

The guy doing most of the yelling was the the guy in purple. I can only assume he was the guy the field ump confronted.

If it was the same terrible ump that was behind the plate with the sideways strike zone then I would have challenged him.

It was Darrell Arnold that tossed him. I was right there when he ran off to go get whoever is in charge to tell those guys to calm down, citing profanity as the main issue. (There was one instance of profanity that I know I heard, but it was just a slip, and I can't remember what it was) Once the usher went and talked to the guy in purple, the guy in black (my favorite fan of all time) had comments for Darrell. I know he said Darrell had a bubble butt, but no cursing. Darrell then tossed him. As I understand it, alcohol isn't permitted on the premises, and the Porch isn't considered part of the stadium. Not sure on that, but I heard that somewhere as reasoning for allowing alcohol. If that's the case, I don't know if an umpire has any jurisdiction over the fans out there, which may be why he didn't have to leave.

I really think the guy in black is very entertaining and is able to do all of the heckling without being over the top. It is all in good fun. That is evident by how much the entire Arizona State bullpen enjoyed the whole interaction. I heard an ASU fan say that the entertainment value of that guy was worth the price of admission, even though they got embarrassed on the field. The guy in black used to sit behind our dugout, and as I understand it did scouting reports of the guys, by looking on facebook, bios, etc. and print them and hand out copies. As players, we really enjoyed his art form. I assume he graduated in 08 since that's when he stopped being a regular. I hadn't ever seen his face until today. He was always just that voice from above. I hope he comes all the time now.

Florida is kind of struggling.

Florida Gulf Coast beat Miami in basketball back in November

South Carolina's pre-conference schedule continues to amaze me. I wonder if their players know the world extends past the state borders?

Belmont is obviously a tough out for anyone.

Just one more to add to that, Missouri moved to 0-5 today with a 5-3 loss to Memphis.
