Coops blocked shot sparked that run. So fun to watch. Hope we can keep that same energy for two more quarters.

We are letting Latson shoot them out to the game. She might have 50 but that might be all they score at this rate lol.

Latham and Jill really stepping up. Very proud of Jill, played some great interior defense in that half. Things are starting to click for her, looks so much more confident.

Tennessee only 7 OR to Florida State's 14 DR. Let's dig into that ratio this half, way too many easy rebounds for FSU. (and several of those became easy field goals)

Some of that is taking shots without anyone in the paint to hav a chance to rebound, tho. Clean that up, good shot selection, and get some second chance points.

As a first time watcher of this team I'll say this........

While this is very different from what Pat Summit would have run, she would approve, there's plenty to clean up, the edges still need to be sharpened. But there is intensity, effort and hustle...... And Pat would co sign that any day of the week.

And while I didn't know Pat I've known quite a few of her family members in Cheatham Co when I still lived there, including her sister. Still huge fans of the program.

I do think some of that is a slight strategy. They like to push so we are not sending the guards to the glass as hard as we have been to prevent runouts.

Too many turnovers...... But we're forcing more out of them.

You have to be better from the charity stripe..... No excuse to shoot that poorly without a hand in your face.

Need to be a little better in the paint on offense........ On the other end if we are a little better around the rim defensively and not give up easy layups we would be up by 6-10 more right now.

Still plenty to improve on.

I appreciate the energy and hustle .

The uniforms, while significantly better than anything “blackout”, need to go. We can throw them on the fire after the dark modes of all sports.

Is it too much to ask, as a Tennessee fan, that I actually see ORANGE!!! as the featured color on a uniform?
