Truth. Looking at the last two box scores, I don't see how we won these games.

Miracles and players that keep plugging away getting stops on defense and occasionally making an ugly shot or two.

That would be silly, we will improve. Just because at this point in the season we might have difficulty in beating some of the top 25 teams does not mean that will be the situation as the season continues. What matter is how much we improve.

Pretty sure ucf was ranked number one in something defensively . They are very very good defensively

I believe they were the number one scoring defense in the country.

Kellie's recruits are just not good, Key still fouls too much, she hasn't developed and is well behind where Russell was at this point. If it wasn't for what is left of Holly's recruits we would be 0-2, and let's not kid ourselves, development is not happening. Zero 3 pointers made, and less than 50 percent from the line. As Pat's dad told her you don't take mules to the Kentucky Derby. Kelly better learn how to tell the difference between a mule and a horse because she's hasn't brought any in yet. We better hope for more transfers next season or we will be in the bottom of SEC. We are painfully bad at passing, and just have really bad guard play, they can't guard the three or shot! Kellie would start at her age, for this team. I just see a really long season, double digit loses, and a bubble team. We should start questioning this hire.

I believe they were the number one scoring defense in the country.

It looks like we’re on our way to winning that title if they keep this kind of play up. But let’s see then against some better offensive teams.

If indeed our offense ends up matching our defense and our defense keeps improving. Watch out. Because we have the fight in us as shown from these first 3 games.

Didn't hit a 3, didn't shoot well at all in the first half.

Not dissing JH, we certainly wouldn't have won without her. But we really, really need JH and Key to develop some consistency.

I'd trade Keys numerous blocks any day for made layups, better hands holding on to rebounds, and made free throws.

Better a win than the alternative.

But how many layups did they miss because Key was living rent free in their heads due to those 6 blocks?

I would've pulled Walker earlier than coach Harper did. She should've been trying to get the ball inside instead of taking those shots. 0 for 8 0 for 5 from the three.

Defensively yes… offensively I need her to go 7/10

She got some key buckets and offensive rebounds tonight. She shot poorly overall. She just isn't a good shooter. But she contributed offensively tonight. I'll take it. Defensively she was fantastic.

Texas’s offense is not that high powered yeah they scored 131 on Timbucktoo but the true offensive prowess of that team was shown yesterday against Stanford. If we can guard the perimeter I like our chances. Not concerned with Texas more concerned with our own offense tbh. That’s will be the X factor CAN WE SCORE ! I’m confident we can get stops

Team plays extremely hard rebounds and plays in your face D. We are giving up 47 game against 3 teams that returned every starter 2 of which can be in the big dance. Missing your AA scorer. Dye is much better offensively than tonight no legs she needs to get in gym and condition on her own. Walker has got to be better and I believe she will . Last 2 freshman playing a lot of minutes. Go Lady Vols. In CHRIST Alone.

Not taking away from their wins, but from the first 3 games I see this team doesnt make it priority to get the ball inside. Or even know to get it to the low block.
