Why do some of you say "us" when talking about the team? You are not playing. You are fans.

The LV's of the past are done. That era is over. Now with the Title IX lawsuit Hart can't fire her. So she needs to resign for the good of the program, but, that will never happen. Dearstone and the other handful of Holly supporters can buy tickets and enjoy now.

Of course. If the 2 worst teams in the league can beat us then yes the Bulldogs will beat us next. It will be senior night though so maybe we get a little excited & win our season finally. I wouldn't bank on it though. We would have a hard time beating anybody right now.

This team is in shambles! It hurts me to even watch them play. I just hope we can win against Georgia to give our seniors something to enjoy because they've had very little to enjoy this season.

We could have continued on as a sort of lower tier two mediocrity for years--winning most of our SEC games but accomplishing nothing more than that. Now it is clear that we need a complete overhaul. Will HW last another year? Maybe, but the writing is now on the wall, in indelible ink. Hart just has to make the right hire--which of course isn't a certainty.

I disagree with this post. Pat did leave the program in good shape. Also, the LVs beat UCONN the last 2 times they played. Holly is not a good head coach. This is the problem. Geno is the standard for coaching in WCBB. Do you think the LVs would have a record of 16-12 if he were the HC?

Sorry the UConn argument is a faulty one. It's been almost a decade since we last played them. If that series had continued the results would have been devastating.

I'm not suggesting that HW is a good coach. I'm saying what I said--our problems started earlier. HW could not fix them and now they are worse. Thank you for your brilliant insight about geno. what was PS's record against geno in title games? how about 0 and 4.

If Holly wins a single game in the NCAA tournament, she will have more NCAA wins in her four years (9) than Pat did in the prior four years (8).

There's no need in anyone listing which lineup is best or explaining how we should run a motion offence or who we should go after in 2017.

IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE!

And it won't matter again until we (that would be us fans who have invested our time and money) get a new coach.

Till then, all us fans can do is stop going to the games, wait until we have a new coach and make jokes.

By the way, did you hear the one about the Penguin who had car trouble so he..................:thud:

Aside from the Baby Vols issue, there is another problem that PHS was dealing with over the last few years as well.

Diamond Deshields plays for herself and cares nothing for the team. She needs to find another place to display her supposed extraordinary basketball skills.

This is all you post dude! Every single post of yours tonight has been downing DD. She's not our problem! Coaching is our problem though. If we had a coach that knew how to handle Diamond then we wouldn't be seeing a lot of this stuff that Diamond does on the court.

Yes, Diamond has some emotional issues but she's not the overall problem on the court. She's actually our best player. She's just aggressive & makes some mistakes just like the others. Hers is magnified because of her talent & skillset.

Diamond's style of play doesn't fit with Tennessee's "system", and Holly has no clue how to adjust it to maximize the utility of her best player. That's 100% bad coaching.

That I can agree with about Diamond. Holly doesn't know how to handle DeShields to maximize her potential. You are correct sir. Holly can't coach anybody on this team it appears but our best player in DeShields she definitely doesn't have a clue as to how to use/handle her.

Maybe Hart was on to something when he wanted to the the lady vols thing away, cause this isn't the lady vols I've I known and loved for so long.

Again, your memory and your rewriting of history is wrong. We won NC's in 2007 and 2008.
