Disclaimer: I am not nor have I ever been a fan of Mercedes Russell. She needs to RUN down the floor to defend in the paint and be there for rebounds. What I see, a timid, weak shooter, loafing down the floor, turns around to defend at the 3 pt line while the ball goes past her to the paint. Sigh.

Russell can not catch a pass, can not hit a layup can not guard anyone. Reynolds looks like she is lost. The offense tonight is someone dribbling the ball out front and the other 4 sending waving their hands for a pass. Peewee games have better offenses than the team I see tonight.

Diamond confidence in her offense seems to be way off with the lady vols, I think that's because of the coaches. They want her to get the ball inside every time & she has one of the smoothest shots in college. I wish she would've stayed at North Carolina becaus holly and staff has her playing really hesitant.

This team has absolutely no confidence. Everyone is afraid to shoot, and they stand around not playing defense. This is as bad as it gets. Oh a once great dynasty down the tubes.

They play defense flatfooted. They try to draw charges but set up too early and let the offensive player drive around them.

Watching the body language of this team, its hilarious. Shot clock violation and no urgency at all. They don't deserve to win. They don't deserve to wear the Orange jersey with their name on the back. Absolutely embarrassing to watch and Holly should be ashamed. I sure am ashamed. They don't care to be out there. I swear if I was the coach every girl on that team would get with it after the butt chewing they got from me after the crap I've seen. But it's not getting better. That's why Holly is the biggest thing wrong with this team. Sorry Pat.

If you go back and watch, the players were not the only ones not paying attention to the game clock. Holly didn't even realize the clock was running down. The announcers were talking about how it was unforgivable for the players not to know about the shot clock, I think it is even worse if your own coach doesn't notice.
