I believe that this Lady Vol team would be challenged to score 90 points with no opposition on the floor .....hope I am wrong ......

First day of the rest of our lives. I refuse to entertain the possibility the LVs could lose today. Everyone's healthy (except DW of course) and rested. The most consecutive in season practices without a game I ever remember. Liberty is meh at best. Loss cannot happen.

We're looking at another 4 game must win schedule , and this time it's our last chance. Definitely down to the 9th life. It's a reflection of our nightmare start that the current must win games aren't for a ranked win but against a low mid major and 3 of the worst SEC teams, 2 of them at home. Yet I'm still nervous as hell about them.

Then it gets harder with road games against better SEC teams, but I can't even go there. I'm totally compartmentalizing and just hoping to get thru the next 4 unscathed. That would be the ideal start to the new year.

No reason we shouldn't win these games and no reason we couldn't be close to the team the writers picked top 15 preseason, in spite of all available evidence. To do that, alot of stars have to align and so far the stars have cursed us. Maybe just by odds our luck will turn. We need several things to happen: Rickea stays healthy and does RIckea: JP stays healthy, focused, and channels Jo Jo grit and endurance; Jewel and Jill become the players they came here to be; Sara and Strip stay steady; TK's progress continues and speeds up; Kaiya and Tess are sharp as role players off the bench.

Starts today. Too much to ask?

People whine and complain about NIL and other problems with college sports, I just happen to believe college sports would be better off if ESPN exploded and fell into the ocean.

Most games also on SECN+. Most every other SEC game is today. Don’t get it.
