Didn't see but the last 15 seconds of game,and disappointed obviously. But I looked at stats and it said Russell was 3-4 at ft line before choke job. Also saw that Tea was 3-15 from the field. I agree you shoot free throws everyday and should make them but a lot of people are on Russell, deservingly so. But no one on Cooper.

It's on neither Cooper or Russell. No matter how bad Cooper shot or Russell bricked her FTs, they still had the game won...until the Defensive Specialist sealed it with the play of the day for LSU.

As long as Holly continues the love affair with Carter and Reynolds and plays them extended minutes, this team will go nowhere. They are the worst guards to play starter minutes that I have ever seen on a Tennessee team. They need to sit.

You can bet a good coach would have these players playing at their best. No way would they play like this under Auriemma, McGraw, Mulkey, etc. They're playing so terrible because they get absolutely no motivation or help from their head coach! Someone who knows how to work with them on their strengths and help them with their weaknesses. We'd see a different team with a different mentality if they were coached by someone who knew what they were doing!

Apparently Holly has not had enough time to figure out how the new timeout rule works. She gas a minimun of four more games to understand it before the SEC tournament begins. We can only hope that this mistake does not happen again-every again.

A loss in TTown should be the icing on the cake for Warlick -- look at this stat - Tennessee is 49-2 all-time against the Crimson Tide and are riding a 42-game win streak dating back to 1984. The Lady Vols are 18-0 on Alabama’s home floor.

Well since you didn't watch free throws were crucial the last seconds of the game and Cooper wasn't the one shooting them. i remember correctly that Middleton,Graves,Carter all made one of two free throws. Russell went there twice she first made one of two and then the final one she missed both.

And even with all those missed FTs, Tennessee was STILL winning with 3 seconds in the game until Carter decided to hand the game to LSU.

She spent the entire game on the side of a milk carton, then came alive for the MVP play for LSU. Unbelievable.

Let's be honest. For all that happened at the end of the game, it's a travesty that this game was even close.

This team keeps playing worse and worse as the season goes on. If that's not a sign of horrific coaching, what is?

What I find baffling--among many things--is how we are at the end of the season and the coaches STILL have no idea who are best players are, what are best rotation is, etc. I suppose the glaring inconsistencies of are players are to blame--but I've never seen it like this. Reynolds is our best player for a couple of games--then basically did not play at all in the second half today. Cooper plays for most of the game and is bad. Carter is in for a while, then out....Crazy....and uber frustating.

Carter and Reynolds combined for 1 point and 1 assist and 4 TOs. And Carter sealed the win for LSU. Tennessee wasn't missing much with them on the bench. Middleton runs the point better, and at least Cooper tries to make plays. Cooper may not be good, but she's an All American compared to Carter/Reynolds.

The Lady Vols just lost to 8-18 LSU. Tennessee is going to fall out of the AP Top 25 for the first time since 1985. Per Josh Ward -Twitter

I agree & think that With a better coach Cooper would certainly be playing a lot better (has she made bad mistakes yes but she's a freshman look at the mistakes our seniors I'm sorry one is a Redshirt Junior is making with the game on the line) I also like what I see out of middleton as well because she wants to score and do well for the Lady Vols, Holly if she had any true love for Pat Summit, UT & the program (and her own legacy) she would resign now and let Elzy try to save the season because if she continues it would be beyond repair and she might not be looked at as the Hall of Fame player/assistant coach who once was the head coach but as the person who destroyed the program

Holly Warlick=Derek Dooley.

Neither of them wear the Orange and White (anymore) but their complete coaching incompetence allows those that do wear the Orange to fail miserably time after timr.
