If we could of played better help side defense, this could of been a victory. Plus, Mercedes didn't wake up until the 2nd half. Another loss! Will we ever be amongst the Elite again?

can't have slow starts. too hard to battle back esp. on the road to a ranked team. down 12 after the 1st qtr.

This is too many times to say,"This one hurt."

Maybe our players are not a good as we think they are? They sure seem to play that way.

If MR played tough for 35 minutes we win this game. It appears to be such a lack of effort. Her moments of brilliance do not compensate for the rest of her play, IMO. It is a team game, but these freshmen have to learn from the seniors.

There was one call late that was called a foul on Jamie and she had position and the Missouri player basically crawled on her (Jamie's) back and side and Jamie got called for the foul. It was a BS call that changed the momentum at a crucial time.

I agree. Played much better after a dreadful first 15 minutes or so. Still a disappointing loss. Nared was 10 of 18 in fga, the rest of the ream only 18 of 44. She needed more help.
Also, though our press was very effective in the 3rd q, our half court D wasn't very good.

Maybe it just doesn’t show, but based on interviews and press conferences, it seems we fret about it more than the coach. If she ever spoke with some confidence and passion, maybe the kids would pick up on it. Coaches don’t take the personalities of their players, teams end up taking the personality of their coach. It seems as the season has progressed they have lost confidence, passion, etc.

Jaime fouled her on that. Replay showed that Frericks had position for the rebound, not Jaime.

What's with the unbreakable press that shows up for 4 minutes in the 3rd quarter, erases the lead, then disappears. I mean, they were pressing in the 4th, but not with the same intensity and coordination.
