About as bad of a half offensively as we could have had, and it's only a two possession game. It doesn't bode well for LSU if we start hitting some shots. This sell-out, history-making crowd is shell-shocked. They thought this was going to be a 30-point blowout.

Really Horsten and Jackson are the most talented players in the game. Being hurt by our slow perimeter players.

That was an ugly half but we're outrebounding them by 7 and we held Reese to 4 points. We're not really getting bad looks (though I'd prefer to see fewer kickouts for a Walker 3), and if we could just hit a few more, we'd be in great shape.

Tennessee could be doing a whole hell of a lot worse than down 5 to a top ranked ream on the road at the half. Several times LSU wanted to push that lead out, and UT said no. And a lot of missed chances that Tennessee can keep getting if they stay focused. Just have to hold on and hope Tennessee can figure this second half out.

Tennessee is making Reese look like a mediocre player. She is very frustrated. If Horston gets hot, Tennessee could win this game.

I agree. Although I expect Angel Reese to be Angel Reese in the 2nd half.

Completely agree! Our D frustrated LSU but it’s disappointing we couldn’t get a few more to fall so we could be tied it up. Have to shoot the ball better to win this game.
