Jaime Nared offers a little hope for better days to come. I think along with Diamond they could lead the team.

I would agree that those two could lead the team in scoring. I do not think Diamond will lead the team if you meant "leadership." In the Stanford game, the only times she looked like she was interested in playing was when she had the ball in her hands. I think Graves provides better leadership by example. She may not have the natural talent that Diamond has, but she always looks like she is leaving everything out on the court.

Check with your local cable tv provider. For $3.50/month (introductory price for one year) I get a sports package that includes ESPNU, ESPNW, SEC, Tennis, BIG10, PAC12, FS2, CBSSN, and Longhorn (U of Texas).

I guess we can hope for a 1996 type year...I was the only one who picked the 4th seed LV's to win that year's tournament in my pool, and they made me some money.

Yep, I've had that package for years with Comcrap. Charter should have it to.

Graves is too quiet to be a leader, unfortunately. She's a senior--she should be chewing out some of her teammates. DeShields worries me; I see some attititude moments with her--not a good thing on a team that is struggling. Warlick needs to have a sit-down with her and explain that she needs to be a leader on this team--and it starts with hustling on every play and getting after it on defense.

I can get it here if I pay extra for it. This game isn't worth the extra money. If we stay within 25 I will be shocked.

You can always sign up for the service, pay for the first month, and then cancel. One month of service is often cheaper than the price of a ticket to a game.

I agree that I have a few concerns with DD and a lay-it-all-out-there-for-the-team (or lack thereof) approach.

However, the injury is significant and nagging, so I can see continuing to give a pass on this - assuming we see better things ahead.

I worry that DD came with some rumblings of just wanting to play as SHE feels is best.

Mechelle Voepel of ESPN had an article a couple of years back that quoted DD as basically saying she was happy to be at UNC because they weren't going to try to change the way she wanted to play. Voepel rightly questioned this since good coaching is always there to make you better, which REQUIRES CHANGE.

Can you please stop showing us videos and interviews til we win some games that matter?

We do not want to have from the players or Holly til the SEC!

Actually, I would love to see Margo's video from the Stanford game. That girl has enough personality for five. She always makes me smile. (But it is a little creepy when she does her webcast from her bathroom.) If anyone could provide a link it would be much appreciated.

Nared was a pleasant surprise against Stanford. She played with heart and it seemed to lift the team in the 4th. I hope she gets a lot more PT! GLV!'
