More problems with this team than answers. The offense is horrid and the main reason I see is so many players on this team wanting to get their shots. There are a few players on this team that should shoot very seldom and that would be a wide open shot within their range.
After building a huge lead with the right people shooting the ball the other players seem to feel it was their turn to shoot it in the second half and Oregon State was able to whittle away an 18 point lead to one point. They had about 8 possessions in one to take the lead and luckily for us they could never get it done.
One thing that is quite obvious is that we are a far better team on both ends of the court with Carter playing the point versus the other two we use.
I think we lost about 15 points of that 18 point lead when she went to the bench with her third foul.
I am really concerned as to what it is going to take to make some of these players come around to the team concept.
Right now we have about five players that are playing for the good of the team a couple more than are half way there and the rest who seem to be out for themselves.
Probably more to this post than you realize. A strong coach would define their player's roles. Don't see Holly doing that.
