I have to give her credit because Diamond and Nared's games have went to another level. Middleton seems to have straightened out her game. Massey had us as a fifteen point underdog and on paper it looked like a mismatch because of their size inside. This was an amazing effort by our Ladies.

TN took it to them on their court. They can try, but it won't guarantee them a win.

I thought they would win big, but my instinct last week was correct. Great individual talent, but don't play team ball. They aren't going to the FF. Sorry, chickens.

This might just get them enough fuel with playing UCONN because I'm sure she won't let them forget. If Nared and Diamond had hit those free throws earlier the game wouldn't have been this close.

I will say it was good for the lady vols to win a close game on the road and have their ball movement, inbounding ability, and smarter play calling down the stretch help seal the deal😀

Hey hey hey now... enjoy your win don't be bringing UConn up. Let South Carolina savor this loss without it translating anything to the UConn game. They got a few more between now and then. They can get their angst out vs SEC teams.

Thanks for being a gracious fan! I am sure your coach will have your team primed and ready and she will use it for the rest of the SEC season and going into the UCONN game! I really like Dawn Staley as she continues to shout us out and support TN when things were rough last year and this year when we beat notre dame! We TN fans will be rooting for you guys in connecticut and hoping you end that streak! Plus represent the SEC well!

Lady Vols now lead the series 46-5. I knew this program owns the entire SEC (and every D1 program but UCONN, frankly) historically, but I didn't know it was THAT bad. Wow.

Hahahahaha sorry! But we SEC teams stick together! Dawn stuck with us when things looked bleak and when we took down the top team in the ACC ( or what's been the top team) and I do believe dawn will use this as fuel. However, I'm quite sure Geno will have his players ready to make a statement because the lack of competition in that conference this will be their last chance to do so. But trust me even speaking of UCONN makes me itch 😀 (No matter how good they may be ) LOL

Cuevas hit so many big shots (and took Middleton off the dribble repeatedly) I could see why you'd want to keep her in, but not necessarily as PG, where Harris is a bit more under control. And I'm not sure I'd put Davis in over Gray.

This definitely gives an opportunity to get into the top 16 seed conversation. We could get to a three or four if we win most of the games we have left.

I hope this win gets the lady vols in the top 25 and hopefully potentially hosting a first round game... UK is in the top 16 seeding and UT has a tougher schedule. I think if they win out and get a couple wins in the SEC tourney they did enough to earn a top 4 seed. They will have had to beat MSU on their home court and I'm thinking the ladies (while taking the game one by one) would be looking forward to a rematch and improving their NCAA seeding. They have 3 top 10 wins and 4 top 20 ! That's pretty impressive. I think maybe a think pink win and they may be back in their locker room 😂 Plus they owe LSU from last year !

They have 3 top 10 wins @ this point they will certainly be back in the Top 25 and they have improved their January record from last year where they were 4-5. I said a month ago that January was going to be crucial and that if they could go 5-4 at the least that's an improvement but 6-3 would be better and was certainly achievable. They did it. They might have done it the hard way but they absolutely did it.

Now they gotta keep pushing their way up the rankings.

Maybe I'll warm up to Holly someday. This would be the start..
