Why do posters show up late in the game, post negative comments then disappear when the LVs win?

Great W today. LVs lost their composure, got it together and came back to finish with a double digit win against a top 10 team. Westbrook has looked shaky, but she came on strong at the end. FR didn't fold-- a good sign with ND on deck.

These young players are starting to learn (hopefully). Another ruckus crowd and the LV made the right plays down the stretch to take the crowd out of the game. How about Nared taking control? Westbrook making the right plays down the stretch? Annie pushing pace and getting into the gaps?

I keep forgetting we have leadership but we are really young on the perimeter for the most part. Even meme is playing a different role.

This team got lax with a big lead and I was impressed to see Holly use a time out after a couple of turnovers. The next 3 resulting plays in a row were aggressive and scores. I think we tried to play to cautiously to early in the fourth qtr instead of continue to attack.

I thought this team did a good job on locating Spann, who is the SECs leading three point shooter, but got lost in locating their pg who had a heckuva game. With that being said I will say a couple of their screens looked to be moving to help get their shooters open but if the refs don’t call it, it isn’t a foul. It’s up to the players to help sell that call or bring it to the coaches/refs attention.

Another question... why are the number or posts so low compared to A&M thread?

We did what we had to do to win the game at the end of the day. We continued to attack and not settle for a jacked up three or a bad pass to the post. Our offense has been that in the past, no real attacking. Annie and Westbrook do that for us! Mercedes didn’t get a lot of touches in the 2nd half because of our attacking IMO. It sped up the game for us in the second half.

Whoever the 5 are on the floor, you have to contribute, and I thought they did.

Aja Wilson playing means Tye Harris scores less. This game would of been a lot closer with her for sure but I still liked our chances.

I just said the same thing about the posters 😂. I noticed Westbrook had a splint and her fingers taped in the first half. She caught a pass and got hit on the middle/ring fingers and was grimacing and shaking her hand. People play with those injuries all the time but I wonder was that messing with her grip on the ball and with her shots?

Regardless glad for the win in front of a large crowd when our FR could of gotten rattled they maintained composure.

They just want to come on here and piss and moan. They blame Holly for things that are not her fault. It was more than obvious to me what the problem was the last 2 years.

Yes, I was very proud of how Westbrook and all the freshmen finished the game.

And despite not getting enough touches, I thought Mercedes was huge for Tennessee today. She was really active on the boards and made some hustle plays, and I LOVED that she held onto the ball on rebounds and higher passes today. She may have been a little tired at the end but, overall, a great game for Russell.

I was thrilled for Hayes today. She made a few mistakes just like everyone else, but her quickness and fearlessness certainly gave SC problems. So happy she played such a great game!

And Davis had some HUGE buckets that came at perfect times. She's a player that I think was born to one day be a professional player.

Where we'll get better is in decision making that is the one area where we make to many mistakes otherwise were as good as anybody on any given day.

And were rewarded at the FT line, which they weren't doing vs TAMU. They exploited SCs lack of interior defense effectively. They were also good at pushing the ball and not letting SC set up their defense. Annie was built for games like this.

Hope Herbert Harrigan's knee injury wasn't as bad as it looked. That would be a tough break.

Some nice acrobatic moves around the basket too. She was really good at working around defenders even when pinned under the basket.

Sad to say, it looks like her season is over. You could see her knee just collapse with no contact in the replay.

Tough break for the young lady.

That's what I thought, but was hoping it looked worse than it actually was. Hate to see those kind of injuries.

Dunbar kind of put a dagger in their hearts with those two threes in about a minute. So happy for Kortney she is having a good senior season has made some very important shots.

Freshmen were 16 of 27 from the field we got to the line 28 times that is winning basketball.

I really feel for the young lady and wish her a speedy recovery ( Herrigan?). Was that a cast or boot on Wilson’s foot?

I would also like to give credit to this coaching staff for getting their team refocused. But they also overcame travel issues that thru off there schedule and delayed things going into this game. So while we played them without Wilson we also couldn’t get the rehab and treatment like normal coming off of an overtime game.

Me too, but everybody else was saying walking?!? So I was really confused.

Aren’t casts for breaks/fractures? Seems like a little more than a sprain but who knows.

I was excited also to see Holly sit Meme after she thought it was funny to make a totally ill advised pass. She needs to throttle back on the one handed passes sometimes. She is improved but the b-ball IQ has a ways to come.

** UPDATE: watching the A&M/ GA game the announcers questioned how long she would be out because she had on a CAST and also came out on crutches

Also... these refs are letting GA be a lot more physical with A&M and Carter was in foul trouble (touch fouls) 4 min into the first qtr 🤔
