Carter did a fine job today. I think when she is on the floor the team is calmer and less erratic.

Her and Reynolds distribute the ball so well too and with their height much harder to shoot over. Hope Holly is learning something from this.

Carter played a great game her play at point guard was awesome. She just makes the right pass and never tries anything stupid.

I was totally shocked at the way we were taking the ball to the basket. Meghan was taking it in there and scoring on short jumpers. This should have been her game for the last four years.

Not a lot of subbing today was another reason we played so well. Holly was quick to pull a player that made a bad turnover. Only 10 turnovers amazing.

Team meetings should be a requirement for teams that do not have leaders. Apparently the meeting on Wednesday was good for everyone. Well played game, low turnovers and good shooting. This I like!

I was thinking it should be a weekly thing for this team if they can pull together like they did today.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but I noticed when Jasmine Jones came into the game & made some quick no no's she was out of the game. I don't think she came back in. If she did come back in I didn't see much of her at all.

Jones is definitely a difficult player - great athleticism, we hear she practices hard but she is , shall we say, less than a good passer either in timing or accuracy. So she needs the opportunity to play if the team is ever going to utilize her talents, and then the BUT...

Offensively, against a team playing man I could see dusting off the plays run for Holdsclaw (IF...) maybe next year .

If only they could do this against a top 10 team. Don't care if they win, just play like this. Smart.

Turnovers down. Simmons shot the ball well. Defense consistent. Best game of the year when they needed it.

Great win by the ladies today. This is the Lady Vol team I've been expecting to see. They looked like a totally different team today. They came out focused, played hard, played smart and didn't let up. Hope they keep this up.

Lady vols go on the road and beat a ranked top #25 team who was also undefeated in the SEC by 21. Everyone except Jones played well. Low turnovers, efficient offense, and battled confidently inside on both ends of the floor. Definitely an encouraging game. Hopefully we can keep up it up and be be consistent.
