Some really bad play by some of our players and some great help by the Refs for Vanderbilt. Evidently a basketball move by Tamari was a foul and then the flop was a foul. We'll have to play really well to win today Refs are not calling a fair game.

It's not about "fairness", it's about "competence"
But, we do need to play really well, as we must every game

Wynn was standing right by the VU player who made the last shot, and didn’t stop it. Maybe the player would make the free throws, maybe not.

The last few games we have been a much better team with Tamari on the court. That was really the difference in those last few minutes that allowed Vanderbilt to catch up and tie it at half. We also need someone else to step up offensively, we really didn't have anyone step up in the 2nd quarter when Vandy upped their defense on Rickea.

The restricted zone was removed in women's basketball.

Actually, no. The restricted area, formerly defined by the arc, was changed. The rule now reads:
RULE 4 / DEFINITIONS 51
Section 26. Restricted Area
The restricted area is defined as the area directly underneath the basket. A
defender is considered to be in the restricted area when any part of either foot is
in or above this area, or when the defender is straddling the area.

This does leave room for interpretation by the referee, but, in this case, I don't see how the ref could have said they were not in the restricted area.

Vandy is the worse 17-2 team I’ve seen.

Hollingshead, offensively, has been a disappointment. She doesn't seem to have a feel for it. A moment ago she gets
the ball in the paint, should have turned and shot, didn't, took a dribble and then shot--an uncontested 8 footer and shot it 6 feet. She's got talent but seems less than confident and comfortable with the ball a lot of the time.

Well for one, she’s starting and playing more than what she did last season. Opened the game with a 3 and got RJ to travel. All better than what she did last year.
